My passion....creating and designing breathtaking, magical, amazing and just damn awesome ambiances for a couple's special day. With over 500 wedding spaces transformed in the last few years, I fall more in love with what I do.
I am an incurable romantic. That perfectly sums me up. I truly enjoy working with couples and love when they tell me stories about how they met, fell in love and all that mushy gushy stuff. Yes, my secret pleasure is all about love and relationships. That's why it’s so easy for me to be as excited about your special day.
Being able to turn my passion into a full-time gig, I am truly thankful. A very simple girl with a big heart, as such, when working with brides, I often take on the role of event planner and become the voice of comfort that calms and reassures them along the way. On a personal note, I have made developed many friendships that I value very much while working with couples over the months leading up to their special day.
I feel quite fortunate for the opportunity to help create unforgettable memories in this province of unparalleled beauty that I am privileged to call home.

When not busy designing and styling weddings, you can find me coaching little league basketball or enjoying a game at Dalhousie with the "Halifax Plays" basketball league.
How long have you been in business?
We are celebrating 6 years of providing affordable and elegant wedding and event rentals in Nova Scotia and beyond.
What sets you apart from other decorators?
Our attention to details and being available throughout the wedding planning process has endeared us to many clients. Being up to date on trends, with inventory that speaks to that as well has made us stand out. 3 years in a row we have been recognized as a Bronze, Gold and Bronze winner respectively, as best wedding decor in the decor category of the Coast Halifax weddings publication.
Do you have any special training or certifications?
I hold an MBA, Masters in Instructional Technology, but more relevant to the industry is IEWP (Institute of Event and Wedding Professional) designation
How many staff do you typically send to decorate a wedding?
We can send anywhere between 2 and 10 staffers depending on guest count or design complexity.
Do you offer full décor packages or is everything a la carte?
We offer packages, but I find mostly we book the a la carte because most couples have unique decor needs that can't be fitted into a pre-set package.
Can you copy a décor idea if I provide you with an image?
Yes, we can mirror an inspiration picture if desired by the client.
How much time do you typically need to setup and take down an event?
For set up, it really depends on guest count and how much decor and linen is required to be installed. It can take anywhere from a couple of hours to 12 hours (for a 400 person, full decor wall and ceiling draped Greek wedding we did last summer).
Can I rent your décor items and decorate myself?
Absolutely, most our business is rental as we can only set up one or 2 a week-end but we can rent to over 10 weddings and events in one single week-end in our busy season.
Will you help me pick out the rental items I need to bring my vision to life?
We tend to do that for most clients as they seem to prefer that; we can do a mock up in our showroom or do an over the phone consultation with visual aids. we also go with design concept from clients that have these all set.
When do you recommend, I come in for a consult?
I recommend coming in for a free consult once your venue is booked; That way you will know what decor you require based on what the venue already has.
